ALLIED ARTS LAUNCHES ANNUAL CAMPAIGN FOR THE ARTS: Jill & Sean Trauschke announce $3.7 million goal

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla., February 14, 2022 – Allied Arts held its 2024 Campaign Kickoff event on February 1 at the newly renovated Little Theatre at the Civic Center Music Hall. Nearly 300 guests convened to celebrate the public launch of the 2024 fundraising campaign where it was announced that Allied Arts had a goal of $3.73 million. Allied Arts board chair Glen Maynard welcomed donors, sponsors, volunteers and government leaders who came together to celebrate the arts.

Jill and Sean Trauschke, 2024 Campaign Chairs, announced that Allied Arts had raised more than $1 million to date. “Jill and I strongly believe that the arts provoke curiosity, expand the mind, and encourage people to believe that anything they can imagine is achievable,” said  Sean Trauschke. “A thriving and growing arts community means a thriving city.”

Throughout the 2024 campaign, Allied Arts will also recognize the philanthropy and vision of Glenna and Dick Tanenbaum as Honorary Chairs. They have been longtime Allied Arts donors, serve as leadership volunteers to countless organizations and are steadfast champions for the arts.

The Campaign Kickoff event featured inspiring performances by a variety of nonprofit organizations supported by Allied Arts and the reveal of the Allied Arts 2024 campaign video created by Prairie Surf Media/Studios?. Organizations represented at the Allied Arts Kickoff event included:tThe Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Oklahoma Youth Orchestras and panelists from Canterbury Voices, Lyric Theatre and Oklahoma City Ballet.

Allied Arts also announced that it will be honoring the legacy of Lee Allan Smith at the end of the campaign season in June by presenting him with the Aubrey McClendon Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award.

In addition to Campaign Kickoff, Mayor David Holt and the City of Oklahoma City announced February will be known as Allied Arts Month in Oklahoma City during a City Hall proclamation on February 13.
